Bremen is a beautiful historic city in the North of Germany. It is well connected to the world by having an airport and a major train station. You can reach Hamburg and Hannover in about an hour and Berlin in about 3 hours by train.

The University of Bremen where the CEWIT-TZI workshop will be held was founded in 1971. It has 19000 students and 2800 staff members. In 2012, it was awarded the status of a “University of Excellence” in a competition launched by the German Research Foundation and the German “Wissenschaftsrat” (Scientific Council).

Direct way to the meeting place after arrival in Bremen

Tram tickets are available inside the vehicle from blue ticket vending machines (keep coins at hand). You need a single ticket for the fare level (“Preisstufe”) I, independent on whether you start at the airport or at the main railway station. The ticket price is 2.40 Euro. After having arrived at the University/NW1 tram stop, follow the signs labelled “ICTMH” to the meeting location. The workshop takes place in the “NW1” building opposite to the tram stop on the other side of the road “Universit├Ątsallee”, first floor, southern wing.
